Kimmel Sets Record

Former Sun Devil Jimmy Kimmel was honored by the Guinness Book of World Records on Monday for "Furthest Distance Commuted in One Working Week."
Kimmel had been performing double duty all week, filling in for Regis Philbin on Regis and Kelly, which is filmed in New York City, while making it back to Hollywood during the evening to film his nightly show Jimmy Kimmel Live. Kimmel reportedly recorded 22,406 air and ground miles, one week after getting banned from Monday Night Football. If I were dating Sarah Silverman, I'd probably spend my life working too.

Pitchfork Nation at your Tailgate Party
Do you want bragging rights as the best tailgate at ASU? Pitchfork Nation will be out at the tailgates shooting video and interviewing fans on Saturday before the Sun Devils crush Dick Tomey and the Spartans, so if you want your tailgate to be featured on the site, send us an email at pitchforknation@gmail.com and we'll make sure we witness your pre-game action first hand. Also, you can always shoot your own video and send it to us, and more than likely we'll put it up on the site. Hopefully we'll find a tailgate that surpasses the USC game tailgate from a few years ago featured on Jimmy Kimmel Live:

October 1st, 2005. Our tailgate party goes national.
Watching this happen live was probably the best moment of my college career. I'll be covering tailgate parties throughout the season, and I hope they can live up to this one. Maybe Aunt Chippy can make a repeat appearance this year for Thanksgiving.
