The injury bug has hit Arizona State again.
It looked as if ASU was going to be at near full strength for tomorrow's Pac-10 opener with Oregon State, with Ryan Torain expected to return from knee and ankle problems and Brent Miller inching back toward being 100%.
Today though, the Sun Devils ruled starting defensive tackle Michael Marquardt out for tomorrow's game. He's been wearing a boot on his foot this week, but originally was expected to play against the Beavers. The injury is a major blow to the ASU defense, especially against Oregon State's experienced offensive line and the rushing skills of Yvenson Bernard.
Look for more of Jon Hargis and Tashaka Merriweather tomorrow night in Marquardt's place.
